Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It is equipped with the latest features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking interface that includes a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.

It has a variety of other features that are smart also, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop without requiring refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, however it's priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.

It is important to note that mapping takes quite a while and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. Additionally the detection of objects can be difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn its back to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer an adaptive obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping system, which utilizes a continuous roller filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dustbin as well as wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in a routine schedule. You can control all of its functions using the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it provides amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even modify their cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to avoid contamination.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they need to be cleaned.

6. S10

This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office clean. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so that it can know what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.

Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent option.  automatic hoover  comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It is very quick and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not linked to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
