As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.
It is important to note that mapping takes quite a while and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. Additionally the detection of objects can be difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn its back to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office clean. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so that it can know what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent option. automatic hoover comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It is very quick and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not linked to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
